A Trenton man will spend the rest of his life in prison nearly seven years after a violent carjacking spree that left two victims with life-altering injuries, authorities said. Cedrick Hodges, 41, received his life sentence in Trenton federal court, New Jersey's U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said in a news release on Wednesday, Nov. 20. Millville Teen Driving Stolen Car Found With Fake Gun, Bridgeton Police Say
A Millville teen was accused of carjacking someone and driving the vehicle in Bridgeton, authorities said. Juan Vasquez Jr., 19, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 14, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. Officers stopped Vasquez while he was driving at around 11:06 a.m. Investigators said he was in a vehicle stolen during a carjacking in Millville. Vasquez was charged with carjacking, unlawful possession of a weapon, and unlawful possession of an imitation firearm. The teen was held in the Cumberland County Jail.
